Newfound 2022 Syrah Shake Ridge Vineyard

This Syrah comes from the incredible Shake Ridge Ranch in Amador County, which has been farmed meticulously by Ann Kraemer and her family since 2003 and features some of the best sites for Syrah in California. It is a decidedly Northern Rhône style made with 100% whole clusters and offers classic Syrah dark fruit with spice and hints of earth. It's vertical and precise in style with structure to last a decade or more, while there is still plenty of fruit and the tannins are finely integrated. This is a special wine from a very special place, sure to evolve and add layers of depth.
