From the importer, GK Selections: A blend of roughly equal parts Anton Vaz, Roupeiro, and Arinto from both the Home vineyard and a plot of 90~ year old vines. The fruit is foot trodden in lagar with 20% of the stems, and allowed to macerate on the skins until fermentation starts. Then the wine is gently pressed off the skins and into a combination of talha and used oak for fermentation. After fermentation, the wine is moved fully into used oak barrels where it ages for eight months, followed by two months of settling in stainless steel.
