This extraordinary Bourgogne rouge is a blend from 2 parcels in Vosne and 1 in Chambolle (talk about elegance). Vines were planted in 1972, 1978, and 1991. 70% whole cluster, fermented with ambient yeast, then aged in oak barrels (10 to 15% new) for 12 to 18 months.
Jasper Morris: Glowing ruby purple, with considerable density to the dark red berry fruit. Some spice here too, but especially a dark raspberry fruit. Expressive in a sunny style.
