Gaël Petit makes beautiful Tavels of terroir at Moulin-la-Viguerie that age beautifully for over ten years, like the Manissy "Tete de Cuvée." Made with Grenache noir & blanc, Cinsault, Carignan, Syrah, Clairette blanche, Bourboulenc and Mourvèdre, average age 50 years+. This majestic Tavel is the real thing, with complex red fruit and garrigue flavors and terrific length. Serve with grilled lamb, Mediterranean and Near Eastern dishes all winter long, or cellar for 5 to 10 years.
