Messager-Germain 2023 Nuits-Saint-Georges 'Aux Herbues'

This wine comes from a parcel in the north of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation, on the outskirts of the village, with an easterly exposure and a marl-limestone soil that is a continuation of that of the Vosne-Romanée Grands Crus. The vines are 45 years old. 

The wine is beautifully spiced and earthy with underlying ripe black berry and black currant. It has great texture and a very long finish.
