"dark robe; the bouquet is promising, surely together, has an infill of simmered black berries, notes of black olives, a southern level of ripeness but not excessive. The palate is rich and full on attack, holds firmly in mid palate, still is raw goods with demanding tannins swiftly on the scene, thrust, darkness from them. It’s grounded Rôtie, not for the Burgundians or the faint hearted, has a southern thrust in it." drinkrhone
