Sourced from vineyards in La Morra and Monforte d'Alba from vines too young to use for Barolo. Varying expositions at 300-400 meters. Varying but mostly Sant'Agata Fossil Marl - a limestone-clay typical of the area. Practicing organic. Hand-harvested. 1/2 is done whole berry and 1/2 is destemmed. Vinified in cement. Aged in Austrian oak barrels for about eight months.
