From Importer Polaner: Les Empreintes is a blend of historic parcels in Aurélien Laherte’s home village of Chavot, including 50% Chardonnay, 1/3 of which is Chardonnay Muscatel, from west-facing "Les Chemins d’Epernay" planted in 1957, and 50% Pinot Noir from north-facing "Les Rouge Maisons" planted in 1983. From the exceptional 2019 vintage, this limited release ages 60 months sur lattes under cork, resulting in a wine that is both powerful and precise – two hallmarks of Chavot terroirs in Aurélien’s deft hands.
