Kelley Fox 2022 Mirabai Pinot Noir Dundee Hills

The Mirabai Pinot comes from two neighboring vineyards, Maresh and Weber, both planted in the 70s on Jory soils. 30% whole clusters are used, and aging is for ten months in neutral French oak. It's a gorgeous transluscent ruby in the glass bursting with cherry and pomegranate fruit, with subtle hints of more savory mushroom and forest floor. The palate is electric with vibrant red berry fruit and mouthwatering acidity, showing incredible purity and lift. This is one of the more exciting and vibrant Pinots on the market and can be enjoyed in its youth, a great example of the vivacity Willamette Pinot (or any Pinot for that matter) can offer.
