Antoine took over for his father's domaine in 2007 and has been making wines of incredible concentration and density ever since. He farms organically, predominately in Meursault but spreading out to Puligny, Saint-Aubin, Beaune, and Pommard. His entry levels (Aligote and Bourgogne Blanc) are always showstoppers and shoot well about their rank!
A 0.2 hectare plot planted to clay and limestone soils in 1987. Grapes are gently pressed with malolactic and alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels. There are no stirring of the lees and aged for 20 months in barrels that are 4-5 years old. This is a beautifully intense rich wine that is incredibly precise. A fantastic window into this incredible winemaker.
