This is a delicious new offering from Fossil & Fawn, a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay from the Marin Estate Vineyard. It's an homage to passetoutgrains and is made with 100% whole clusters co-fermented together. There is some dark fruit and earthy reduction on the nose at first sniff, which opens up beautifully in the glass. It's mineral and deep while retaining great acidity and lift, both crunchy and juicy at the same time. Great with a slight chill alongside burgers, dogs, wings, or just about any summer fare!
