Enfield 2022 Pinot Noir Merk Vineyard

This is a fairly new site for Enfield, but as John mentioned at a recent lunch when he saw the vineyard he knew it had the potential to produce some great fruit. It's located in Carmel and has a moderate coastal climate with sandy soils that allow for incredibly pure fruit along with layers of spice. It's giving and forward with fine tannins and just a bit of whole cluster structure, perfectly in tune now but shows great potential in the years ahead. It's an incredible value Pinot that punches well above its price point.
