Riesling from the Seneca Lake Lamb’s Quarter vineyard, crushed, de-stemmed and pressed before aging in stainless steel for twelve months. The 2021 shows some rich texture and body that responds well to air. There is subtle white peach and almost tropical fruit and a sleek minerality that takes some time to develop. Best served chilled but not too cold, this is a unique style of Riesling from the Finger Lakes that should evolve for years to come.
