A vineyard located at the left of the Monthelie Combe with stony, clay-limestone soils. They farm 0.96 hectares of 40 year old vines. The wine is whole cluster pressed with alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrel. Aged sur lie with some batonnage for 11 months in 10% new oak. There is a big jump in depth from the Combe Danay with a bit of waxiness on the palette that carries through the wine incredibly well. There is great lift and energy here!
