Delrieu-Ducleux 2022 Les Saints Martin

The 2022 Delrieu-Ducleux "Les Saints Martins" Rouge is made from 100% Grolleau from vines planted in 1955 on gravel soils over schist. While not a heavy wine, there is some density and depth here, with darker cherry and blackberry fruit and a pronounced mineral streak. It's meduim light bodied but surprisingly structured with firm tannins that ease up with some air. Serve slightly cool and enjoy with food - anything from burgers to fatty meats would be ideal.
