From Pinot Noir vines in Sainte Marie la Blanche, 10 km south of Beaune where Maxime grew up. The average vine age is 25 years. 12 days of semi-carbonic fermentation with pump overs and some foot trodding, followed by 12 months aging in neutral oak barrels. This is to enhance the wines floral characters.
The resulting wine is incredibly pretty! Lovely red florals and a bit of spice alongside ripe red berries. It is lifted, fresh, and fun, the type of wine to open any day of the week.
