From 40 year old vines in 1er cru la Fussiere. 30 days of semi-carbonic fermentation with gentle pump overs and some foot trodding, followed by 12 months aging in neutral oak barrels. A clear step up in concentration and depth of flavor from the regional wines. Strong aromatics of cranberry, pomegranet, and plum with spice. The wine has incredible acidity with a long finish.
