Chevalerie 2020 Bourgueil "Noms D'Oiseaux"

(Arrival 2/27) The new Chevalerie cuvée "Noms D'Oiseaux" is from two parcels symbolic of the domain, each situated at the two extremities of the slope overlooking the Loire. Grapes from the "Peu Muleau" vineyard on limestone and wind-blown sands are blended with grapes from the gravel and clay soils at the bottom of the slope, close to the Loire. “Nom d’Oiseaux” to warn of the urgent need to respect our biodiversity, not just false pretences but through real actions. The 2020 gets this rather poetic note from the Caslots ""It flies towards a sky marked by floral aromas, sweet red fruits and elegance. The wine is dense and delicious, and reveals itself in roundness, with a velvety texture. The sweet red fruits and floral notes take us on a journey in the finish." Sign me up...!
