Carmarans 2022 Mauvais Temps

Nicolas (Nico) Carmaran is a whimsical farmer/vigneron who produces fun and fascinating wines in the Aveyron, a small region in southern France. "Mauvais Temps" is a vineyard near the hamlet of Le Bruel, Campouriez. The wine is made from 100% Fer Servadou in 2022, organic farming, whole cluster fermentation, 10 mg only of SO2. Lovely deep raspberry, spice, and earth aromas. The palate is light but round and deep with spicy berry fruits. This is a beautiful natural wine, delicious, balanced and pretty, with some meat on the bone. Thank-you Nico!
