Grapes like Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Tinta Roriz, and more comprise this blend, coming from 30-60 year old vines in the Senhorim sub-region. Alcoholic fermentation lasts roughly six weeks in stainless-steel vats before being transferred to French oak, where the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. After 18 months, only the best barrels are blended to make this brilliant bottle of wine. The wine is concentrated, with some peppery, spicier notes to compliment the generous cherry fruit. All things white-bean or lentil based should surely benefit from this fantastic value.
