Robin Carette's light and lovely "Ringo" is a blend of Grolleau and Cabernet Franc grown in schist soils of the Anjou Noir. The wine shows a very bright light red color, with pretty aromas of rose and raspberry, citrus and earth. The palate is very light, pure and silky at only 10% alcohol, with stone and berry flavors and refreshing acidity. The finish is long, pure and elegant. Serve quite cool, beautiful wine! (10mg SO2 added before bottling)
