Boillot, Louis 2023 Moulin-A-Vent 'Les Brussellions'

80+ year old vines from a foothill on the eastern side of the appellation on alluvial, silty soils consisting of pebbles and grey and white sand. Grapes are manually harvested and desteemed for fermentation, pump-overs during a three-week maceration period (avoiding too many punch-downs). Aged for 12 months in barrique . The nos eis full of raspberry and strawberry with red flowers and a hint of spice. It has fine tannins with a smooth palette. This is incredibly easy drinking and very food friendly.
