Bart 2022 Marsannay "Les Ouzeloy"

"Les Ouzeloy" is just below "Les Finottes" next to Bas des Longerois. Here the slope has flattened out and the soils are deeper over the limestone below, giving wines with more flesh and weight.  A bit softer and riper than the 2021, the 2022 shows aromas of strawberry confit, violet and spice with a hint of oak; ripe, earthy red fruits with citrus and rose on the palate with firm acidity and earthy berry fruits in the finish. This is a lovely everyday Burgundy at a great price - serve cool and enjoy!
