One of the family’s oldest plots, some of the vines were planted in the early 1920’s through 1986. Together it comes to just 0.7 hectares!
The grapes are hand harvested after pressing the juice is allowed to settle before being placed in barrels to ferment with indigenous yeasts. The wine is then aged in 25% new oak barrels for 12 months, followed by sitting for 3 months in stainless steel vats before bottling.
