Weiser-Kunstler 2024 Trabener Gaispfad Riesling Kabinett Trocken

Our favorite category: Kabinett Trocken! This is a light and dry style of Riesling from ungrafted vines in the Gaispfad, a very rocky and steep site with mostly blue and some red slate. 10° alcohol, bone dry (less than 2g/l RS for anyone asking - though no one talks about this with Chenin which can easily have 10g/l or more RS on a dry wine), with 10g/l of acidity (that's HIGH acid!) - super sharp, chiseled and electric. Konstantin considers this one of their best vineyards and says the Kabinett Trocken is a "subtle, delicate, tender wine that you can easily underestimate." We couldn't agree more!
