Laval, Vincent 2022 Coteaux Champenois Cumieres Rouge (Arrives 10/14)

Vincent had previously only made Coteaux Champenois in 2009. This wine is 100% Pinot Noir from the heart of the hillside. It is made whole cluster and is macerated for two weeks. Aged for about two years in oak before bottling, this is a truly exceptional bottle of Coteaux. It is spiced and textured with beautiful bright fruit. Full of energy this is delicious now but could continue to aged for 10+ years. Having tasted his '09 this past March I can attest to the ageability of this stand out Coteaux Rouge.
