The Convento di Capestrano vineyard is right in front of a lake at 380m of elevation, and gets its name from the nearby monestary. The lake balances the temperatures, giving us a Trebbiano d'Abruzzo wine with a touch more power than the Popoli bottling.
Still low alcohol at 12.5% but with a denser, creamier texture, meyer lemon curd, white flowers and woodsy herbs and a long finish.
