Sylvain owns just 0.25 of a hectare of Aligoté from a vineyard called ‘Les Pierres’ just on the border of Chassagne-Montrachet Villages. The vines were planted in 1997. The wine is aged for 12 months on the fine lees in used 350 liter barrels. This is a stunning, textured Aligoté with great depth and verve. Only 20 cases are imported and we grabbed as much as we could get!
