The 2024 Chateau Daugay Saint-Emilion "Piou" (no not pee-yew or P.U. but rather a reference to a small bird in French) is 100% Cabernet Franc, vinified with whole-clusters, semi-carbonic and aged in old wood. It's a delightful wine, supple and elegant with complex and sapid fruit and beautiful texture, really a pretty wine. Serve cool this summer and over the next 3 to 5 years.
