This parcel is at the top of the vineyard in the unofficial lieu-dit Grands Suchots. With Les Suchots being such a large 1er Cru at 13 hectares, some vigerons believe the top portion,higher up the slope deserves a separate designation. The wine is made with 50-60% whole cluster with ambient yeast fermentation. Its aged for 12-18 months in 30% new oak barrels.
