Sonntag Geschlossen 2003 Gruner Veltliner

After over 20 years (7,492 days to be exact) in an old 800 liter barrel Markus bottled one of the first wines he ever made. The wine was fermented in whole bunches on the skins for 4 weeks and then left in a cool cellar. The color is beautiful a beautiful amber, with notes of golden fruit. This is a powerful wine that even after over twenty years in barrel are bright and lifted. The acid is impressive. Just 1,000 bottles were made of this one of a kind wine.
