This is 100% Mourvèdre from Contra Costa AVA, planted in 1922 in Delhi blow sandy soils. It is inspired by the etheral rosés of Provence, and definitely reminds us of Bandol. Grapes were whole cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel then finished in old French oak barrels. Only 5 barrels produced! This is a great fall weather rosé that could also age nicely if you feel inclined.
