This is 100% Chardonnay, Wente clone, sourced from O’Connell Vineyard in Sonoma. Grapes were farmed organically and hand-harvested, crushed on the stem and pressed before fermenting in 7-12 year-old barrels with full malo. It was then aged in barrel for 12 months on fine lees in 25% new oak before being racked and consolidated into stainless steel for an additional 3-6 months prior to bottling.
