This is a blend of 50/50 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, co-fermented in a "flottasion" style pioneered by Daniel Sage in Ardeche, where the Chardonnay is pressed and whole bunches of Pinot Noir are suspended, or float, in the Chardonnay juice. The result is a light red, almost in rosé territory, with juicy cherry strawberry fruit and punchy acidity. Best served chilled but not too cold, this is a perfect wine for the park, rooftop, or any summer occasion!
