Sourced from a parcel in the Montosoli cru, one of Montalcino's top crus in the North, if not the very best. From two parcels at 250 and 300 meters in elevation. The soils are characterized by clay and deep gray-brown clays stones. Aged for 36 months in large Slavonian oak cask, as is typical at Le Ragnaie, with 7 years of bottle age at the estate.
