Carette, Robin 2024 Piha Chardonnay

Piha is 100% Chardonnay planted on sandy quartz soils, aged entirely in satinless steel tank for seven months. It's a lean and forward style of Chardonnay with a nice balance of crisp apple fruit and mineral cut. It's a good alternative for those who drink Chablis or leaner styles of Chardonnay, with bright acid and enough structure to work with a variety of foods. This is the first vintage that Robin has made this wine, already a standout and the 2025 was tasting great from tank earlier this month!
