Heerweg is a wedt-facing vineyard on clay/limeston soils. THis is made with 100% whole cluster, is fermented with indigenous yeast, and is aged for 18 months in mostly older barrels. This wine has amazing finese with a real elegance to it. The nose is full of red fruit that has a touch of a candied note but is very pretty and has amazing acid. This is a wine that I can see aging well over the next few years.
