For all of our Loire Valley fans, we've included new Chinons from Domaine du Fossile (formerly known as Domaine Patrick Lambert), which just landed this week. Though the estate, which is next door to Domaine Baudry in Cravant-les-Coteaux, is now owned by expats Christopher Marshall and Moira Smullen, Patrick Lambert is still listed as the "Chef d’Entreprise" on their site, and is involved in the wine-making, as he passes down his wisdom and know-how. We've been big fans of the Lambert wines since we first tried them and started offering them at Chambers Street many years ago. Their quality and incredible value make them an obvious choice for any lover of Loire Valley Cab Franc.
