Mazeyres 2019 Pomerol Le Seuil

This Biodynamically farmed  wine is 73.1% Merlot, 24.3% Cabernet Franc and 2.6% Petit Verdot. Pretty garnet color. The nose is elegant with a lovey complexity of sour cherries and sweet spices. The attack is supple, unctuous and fruity. The wine develops with soft tannins, a touch of velvet and a beautiful freshness. The finish offers a nice return of black fruits and a touch of light toasted oak.  Aging is half in one-year old barrels and half in vats giving a wine that is meant to be enjoyed young, but that will cellar nicely for ten to fifteen years. This is a beautiful young Pomerol and an excellent value!
