Empire Estate 2019 Dry Riesling

The 2019 Dry Riesling is not your typical Finger Lakes Riesling, although it still has all the minerality and stone fruit you might come to expect. It is made with a higher percentage of botrytized grapes than the Reserve Riesling, giving it a deeper gold color and more umami and savory characteristics. The nose is expressive and complex, with hints of tropical fruit and a mineral streak that ties everything together. It has great acidity and texture, making it a prime option for pairing with a variety of foods, including grilled meats, hard or soft cheeses, or any Asian cuisine. Truly a great value and a compelling wine.
