Jobard, Claudie 2022 Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru "Sous Fretille"

We're very happy to have 2 cases of Claudie Jobard's beautiful 2022 Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru "Sous Fretille!" This great vineyard for white Burgundy is located on the steep hill above the village of Pernand, facing south, directly opposite the northern sector of Corton-Charlemagne. The soil is very thin, about 40 cm above the limestone, giving wines of finesse and elegance that benefit from 10 to 15 years of aging. (please give it a long decant if drinking now) The wine shows a very pale gold color with aromas of white peach, almond, lemon and stone with elegant herbal notes. The palate has density and power but remains light and very mineral with stone, citrus, peach and pear with a sensational finish that combines all the elements in an intensely mineral finish that sings of the great terroir - after a few days open it's sensational!
