Brij 2024 Grenache Slo Coast

This is 100% Grenache from Rancho Arroyo Grande Vineyard in the SLO Coast AVA. It is fermented with 100% whole clusters in open top wooden cask, sees18 days maceration and is then pressed into Stockinger foudre. It shows a lighter, more delicate side of Grenache with bright cherry and strawberry fruit, subtle spice and an understated power that hints at aging potential. The acid is bright and forward with fine tannins, ready to enjoy now but will likely evolve nicely over the course of five years. Perfect for a summer bbq with grilled meats (fish included), best served at cellar temp. An outstanding value for a superb Grenache!
