The Rateau Aligoté is from Jean-Claude's Biodynamic vineyard in the Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune. The 2023 Aligote is elegant and full of pleasure, with a surprisingly lush nose of lemon, papaya and orange blossom. There is more citrus on the palate, as well as green melon rind and quinine. The finish is long, cool and full of wet stone. This is lovely and a very good value.
