What Thomas calls a "petite cuvée éphémère," - a little ephemeral cuvée, this is a juicy Côtes du Rhône with label from famous cartoonist and friend of the French natural wine-world, Michel Tolmer (Riri, Fifi, Glouglou). A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault with about half seeing carbonic maceration approach and the other half more classic vinification, but with short maceration. Fruit-forward with ample acidity, it also shows a bit of its origins with some blackberry and earthy Rhone notes in the mid-palate. Serve with a light chill!
