NARF August 2025 Edition
NARF August 2025 Edition
It's August already, and we're starting to wonder how the Summer went by so fast. That said, there are still many months ahead of nice weather, and as stifling as the uncertainty and burden of tariffs can be, there are still new wines trickling in to the store.
Today's "NARF" (New Arrivals and Returning Favorites) focuses on several restocks, like the delicious and perfectly "chillable" Telquel from Pierre-Olivier Bonhomme in the Loire Valley or the return of one of our bestselling Chiantis, the Frascole Chianti Rufina, which many CSW customers remember from the past. Two Portuguese favorites, the Dao Tinto and Dao Branco (which is tasting great at the moment!) from Casa de Mouraz are well worth including in your next order! Another returning fave is the beautiful 2022 Chablis A L'Ouest from Domaine de L'Enclos, Eben's pick for best no SO2 added wine of 2025 - not even the most discerning critic of "natural" wines will be able to tell that this incredibly pure and delicious Chardonnay had no sulfites added!
In addition to our returning favorites, we are very happy to include wines new to the shelf at CSW, including the versatile Punset Barbera D'Alba, the juicy and well-priced 'Ann Faure' Pinot Noir from Mick and Jeanine Craven in South Africa, and the stellar 2022 Luneau-Papin Muscadet 'L D'or.'
