Maccario Dringenberg 2024 Rossese di Dolceacqua (Arrives 9/23)

From the far west of Liguria very close to France comes this coastal Rossese. A blend of various plots around the estate, the grapes that go into this wine are all hand harvested and only indigenous yeast are employed during the fermentation. The nose has notes of pomegranate and cranberry with just a hint of underbrush adding a savory contrast to light bodied frame. The finish is long and intense with a tenacity that's complemented by its bright acidity. This Rossese is a fantastic accompaniment to tomato dishes and red meats.
