Madonna delle Grazie 2025 Basilicata Bianco Leuconoe

Leuconoe means clear mind in Basilicata dialect, a perfect name for this wine. Crystal clear in color, a sign of a good harvest as they were able to direct press Aglianico grapes without a trace of pink to be found. Aglianico's signature volcanic and stony minerality is on full display here. White peach, lemon, and grapefruit too all in a weightless body with refreshing acidity. It's very fun to have a blanc de noirs Aglianico! The grapes come from a small 1.5 hectare parcel at 500 meters of elevation with deep volcanic clay with limestone cobbles.

Lucania is also the ancient name for Basilicata! Conincidence?
