Lamoresca 2023 Nero Rosso

100% Nero d’Avola from a vineyard 550m above sea level on sandy soil. Two months of long, slow maceration on the skin to increase the elegance of the wine. No temperature control or added yeasts. One year aging in concrete, followed by two years in the bottle. Minimal added sulfur and no filtering or fining.

I love the nose on this wine, concentrated yet cool lean blue and black fruit, with a hint of anise. The palate is medium bodied at most, with a long savory finish.
