Domaine La Patelle 2022 Le Kiosque VdF

This is 100% Chardonnay grown on limestone soils in Les Tourillons, raised in a combination of wood, demi muid and concrete. It's a clean and precise style with lazer like focus, crystalline acidity and wonderful texture. There's some savory depth and chalky minerality along with fresh lemon zest that intermingle seamlessly, and just a whiff of reduction that adds complexity. Drinking beautifully now, it should age well over the course of 5-10 years and provides tremendous value when compared with some of Pascal's contemporaries.
