A Tribute to Grace 2020 Grenache Thompson Vineyard

This comes from the Thompson Vineyard in Santa Ynez Valley, planted to Alban clone, own-rooted, on a south facing hillside of flint and sand. It was made with 38% whole clusters, foot-tread daily for 11 days before being pressed, then aged 11 months in 220L barrique. It shows an elegant balance of ripe cherry and plum fruit with an underlying savory base, with subtle floral and herbal aromatics. It perfectly showcases Angela's light touch and ethereal, lifted style working with a powerful grape such as Grenache that makes these wines so special.
